Mag.Bell comes from the fusion of two words: “Mag” meaning “beauty” in Incas Quechua dialect, and “Bell’ezza”, also referring to “beauty” in Italian. The junction of these cultures is the typical feature of Mag.Bell; starting from that point Yolanda Echeverria founded this brand. She was born in Perù, surrounded by the Andes, living at a height of 3500 meters. She spent her childhood and adolescence hearing about the tales of wise men and women, and through those words she learned what the meaning of “being a woman” is; how this role is fundamental in the worldwide society; how important is the cooperation with men to build up a family, which is the basis of the society itself. Yolanda graduated in Fashion Design, left Peru and travelled to Italy, since she was fascinated by its history, the art heritage and the deep sense of beauty. Through Mag.Bell, she aims at telling something about her culture and the enhancement of the role of women, by mixing it with the Made in Italy tradition. All the jewels have been created thanks to the cooperation with Italian companies and artisans.
